Pizza Caesar Wrap

A quick meal that brings together the indulgence of pizza with the crisp freshness of a Caesar salad?! Oh yes! Whether for lunch, dinner, or even a snack, this Pizza Caesar Wrap blends the best of both worlds in just a few steps (and almost no dishes to wash!). Topped with a generous handful of Armstrong Italiano Natural Shredded Cheese, this recipe is bound to become a favourite for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Armstrong Italiano Natural Shredded Cheese
  • 1 tortilla, white or whole wheat
  • ¼ cup pizza sauce, homemade or store-bought
  • About 12 slices of pepperoni
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
  • ¼ cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • ¼ cup salad croutons, crushed
  • 2 tbsp Caesar dressing, homemade or store-bought

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the tortilla on top and spread the pizza sauce evenly over the surface.
  3. Sprinkle with half of the Armstrong Italiano Natural Shredded Cheese, then add the pepperoni.
  4. Bake for about 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden.
  5. Meanwhile, toss the chopped romaine, bacon, and crushed croutons with Caesar dressing and the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Once the tortilla pizza is baked, top it with the Caesar salad, add a sprinkle of cheese, fold it up like a wrap—and enjoy!
